Self Service+ Coming to Macs Enrolled in Software Support

On March 31, 2026, SCS Computing Facilities will deploy Self Service+ to all Macs enrolled in Software Support, replacing the current Self Service Software app. Installation will occur automatically, with no action required from users.

This update reflects new improvements Jamf is making to Self Service+, and we’re bringing those enhancements directly to our SCS customers.

What’s New in Self Service+

Self Service+ includes several enhancements designed to make software access and support more intuitive:

  • Menu bar access: A new icon in the macOS menu bar provides quick access to software tools and resources.
  • Updated user interface: A cleaner, more modern layout makes it easier to browse and install available software.
  • Web bookmarks: Direct links to key SCS Computing webpages offer convenient access to documentation, support information, and frequently used resources.
