Bio

Christian Olmeda leads our Technical Communication Platforms team, providing web content management systems, tools and resources, internal communications and technical knowledge documentation to the computing organization and across SCS. Chris holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing, graduate certificates in teaching as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Creative Writing. 

Serving for more than a decade at CMU in support, system administration, service delivery and strategy, he has also been a part of multiple groups and initiatives. These include as a founding member of the SCS Dean's Staff Advisory Committee, a member of the CMU Digital Accessibility Cohort, Digital Accessibility Workshop presenter and served as the founding lead of the Latine Faculty and Staff Alliance.
