End of Life: Windows 10
Support Ending October 14, 2025
Microsoft will end mainstream support of the Windows 10 operating system on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Action Required
If you have a device currently running Windows 10, we recommend taking one of the following actions:
- Upgrade to Windows 11.
We recommend having a backup of your data before performing system updates. - Get help with your upgrade.
Don't want to upgrade on your own? Submit an update consulting request and we can help! - Remove Support.
Not using this computer or want to run it without support? You can submit a request to remove SCS Computing software support from your computer.
What happens if I do not upgrade to Windows 11?
We understand that in some cases replacing or upgrading an active device may not be a viable option at this time. For devices that are either ineligible for Windows 11 upgrade or cannot be upgraded before the October deadline, we plan to offer Extended Security Updates (ESU) for one year to be able to provide continued software support.
Once available, we will configure eligible SCS-supported Windows 10 devices to receive continued updates through October 2026.
